Charlene Maude Wallace 0f Waco passed away Friday, October 18, 2019 in a local health facility. She was born in Carroll County, April 17, 1929, daughter of the late Walter E. Wallace and Maude Holcomb Wallace. She retired from The Arrow Company after approximately forty-five years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six sisters, Margaret Cole, Ola Earnest, Myrtie Bracknell, Gladys McGraw, Revy Williamson and Reby Stanford; four brothers, Chalmas Wallace, Arnold Wallace, Gomer Wallace and Hobert Wallace.
Survivors include twenty-three nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday, October 21 at 11:00 AM from the Holly Springs Primitive Baptist Church with ElderJesse Roberts officiating and the eulogy will be presented by Mr. Richard DeLong and Ms. Rebecca Over. Music will be furnished by the Sacred Harp Singers. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Avery McWhorter, Chris McGraw, Randall Cole, Richard Bracknell, Mark Henry and Jason Stanford. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holly Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery to Attn. Linda McWhorter, 781 Bowdon Junction Road, Carrollton, GA 30117.
