Howard Green of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away at the age of 77 on Monday, October 14, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue; parents, Frank and LaVerne; sister, JoAnn; brother, Melvin; and guardians, Raymond and Ruth.
Howard is survived by his son, Scott (Cynthia); daughter, Heidi (Francis); grandson, Aidan; brothers, Norman (Ester), William (Jenny) and Dennis; sisters, Verdeen, Sharon, Margaret; sister-in-law, Marylou; and grand kitty, Willow.
Howard grew up a farm boy in Wisconsin. He was a loving family man and worked diligently to keep his brothers and sisters united while starting a family of his own with his loving wife Sue. He was a veteran who served in the US armed forces, as a Specialist 4, of the United States Army. Howard was a retired heavy equipment mechanic who continued to use his mechanical knowledge throughout his retirement. Howard was a faithful Christian and volunteered at his church on many construction projects over the years. Howard never passed up an opportunity to lend a helping hand to his family and many friends. He especially liked returning to his farm roots with his son and grandson. Howard will be dearly missed by all who crossed paths with him throughout his life.
