Rex E. Boroff, age 77, of Paulding died Saturday, September 17 at Community Health Professionals Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice, Defiance, OH.

He was born October 28, 1933 the son of Clarence and Anna (Hertel) Boroff. On August 3, 1956 he married Pauline V. Warner, who survives, He was a US marine veteran and was a self-employed farmer. He was retired from GM Power Train, Defiance in 1981, and was a self-employed tree trimmer. He was a member of American Legion Post #341, Oakwood.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline Boroff, Paulding; four children, Rex (Vicki) Boroff, Jr., Paulding, Linda (Marc) Bloomstein, Las Vegas, NV, Tanya (Gene) Tyler, Milford, IN, and Jamy (Dan) Manson, Paulding; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Barbara Cline.

Visitation will be 6 – 8PM Thursday, September 22 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding.

There will be a private family burial services at a later date.

Donations may be made to Paulding County Humane Society or Master Gardeners of Paulding.
