Jimmy Leon Chambers, 76, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 24, 2021.

He was born in Ringgold to the late, Grady Eugene & Thelma Louise Cummings

Chambers and had lived in the North Georgia area for most of his life. He attended Pine Grove Baptist Church and was employed with I.B.E.W. Local 175 for more than 25 years as a welder. He enjoyed going to Antique Car Shows and loved watching old westerns. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother that will be truly missed by all who knew him. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jean Morrison Chambers, step-daughter, Cheryl Poteet Hartline; brother, Charles Chambers and sister, Judy Ann Wooten.

Survivors include his step-son, Greg & Tonya Poteet; brother & sister-in-law, Vance Eugene & Shirley Suzett Chambers; sister & brother-in-law, Tam & Roy Smith; 4 grandchildren, Jarrett Poteet, Matthew Poteet, Logan Hixson and Kyle Hartline; 7 great grandchildren, Cameron Poteet, Joella Hixson, Enoch Hixson, Hadassah Hixson, Zoe Grace Hartline, Harrison Hartline and Hazel Hartline; and numerous extended family & friends.
