James Paul Stevens
A service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, in Milwaukie Presbyterian Church for James Paul Stevens, who died Jan. 8 of an aortic aneurysm at age 74.
James Paul Stevens was born March 7, 1933, in Renville, N.D., and moved to Milwaukie in 1936. He graduated from Milwaukie High School and served in the Navy. He worked for several banks for 27 years, retiring as an assistant vice president of Key Bank, then was a chief executive officer of CUI Stack, and was most recently a consultant for CUI for the last 17 years. In 1978, he married Pat Bennett.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Debra Shatell; son, Jeff; stepdaughter, Jennifer Bennett; stepson, Jeffrey Bennett; sisters, Joanne Stevens and Kay Pence; and five grandchildren.
