Selma Olivia Schrimpshire, 90, of Quitman, Mississippi passed away on October 16, 2019 at her residence.

She was born on September 2, 1929 to David and Ruby (Burnham) Hayes in Quitman, MS.

Selma is survived by her sons, Jerry Schrimpshire and Wendell Schrimpshire; daughters, Janet Howard and Jackie Wright; brother, Franklin Hayes; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Columbus Schrimpshire; parents, David Guy and Ruby Hayes and 10 brothers and sisters.

Visitation held Friday, October 18, 2019, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019, 2:00 pm at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Brad Bakane officiating. Burial in the East Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
