Kenneth Durden, age 68, of Nunez, died Tuesday morning, November 30, 2010, at his residence. Mr. Durden, a lifelong resident of Emanuel County was an electrician with Shell Oil Co. Mr. Durden was a Mason. He was preceded in death by his father: Odie Durden, his wife; Lou Ann Durden, a Son, David Durden, a sister: Lottie Mae "Pensy" Taylor, and a brother: George "Snuffy" Durden. In lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to the: St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tn. 38105. Memorial Services will be Saturday morning at 11:00 am. in the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Elder Tommy Rountree officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening between the hours of 6 and 8 pm. at the Funeral Home. He is survived by: Mother--Marie Durden 3 Daughters; Dina D. Doyle (Marvin) of Nunez Daphne D. King of Nunez Delane Davis of Millen 1 Son: Odie Durden (Rhonda) of Garfield A brother: Waymon Durden of Hilton Head Island, SC. 10 Grandchildren 5 Great Grandchildren Many nieces and a nephew.
