He was born on September 9, 1950 in Winfield, a son of Fraysier Henderson and Adell Perry Henderson. He has been a resident of Walker Rehabilitation in Carbon Hill for the last 35 years. He has always been a real “character”. He had a weak body but a very strong mind and could always tell you about the family happenings. He was an avid fan of Alabama Football and enjoyed visits on occasion from former Alabama Football Players. He loved his family and his extended family at Walker Rehabilitation Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Clinton H. Henderson and his sister, Lenora H. Turner.
Harold is survived by his brothers, William C. Henderson of Winfield and Quentin Henderson of Brentwood, TN, his sisters, Ann H. Hubbert of Winfield, Sarah H. Harbin of Twin, Essie H. Price of Fayette, Gwen H. Kelly of Bull Valley, IL and Karen H. Hollingsworth and her husband, Tommy of Fayette and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services are planned for Saturday, October 19, 2018 at 11 a.m. from the McGraw Memorial Chapel of Miles Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Harmony Grove Cemetery. Phillip Harkness and John Combs will be the officiating ministers.
Nephews, Danny Hubbert, Paul Henderson, Bart Hollingsworth, Greg Harbin, Mike Turner and Tim Turner will serve as active pallbearers.
His second family at Walker Rehabilitation Center will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
