Wilton Lee "Stinky" Davis was born in Athens, Texas and moved to Waco as a child. He graduated from Waco High School where he won much acclaim as a Drum Major.
He served in World War II with the Air Force.
Wilton attended Four C Business College.
Mr. Davis had worked for 20 years at Barnes Lumber Company and at the time of his death he was an Assistant Manager.
At the time of his death, he was President of the Dowtown Kiwanas Club. He was a member of Gurley Masonic Lodge and was a former Karem Shrine Drum Major. He was a charter member of Cogdell Methodist Church.
