NOTE: Death Certificate and obituary state burial in Vevay Cemetery. However, I located a funeral home marker in Fairmount Cemetery. It is unclear if he was removed from Vevay to Fairmount. The funeral home marker is from Morgan & Nay Funeral Home.

John B. Park, 49, of Route 4, Madison, died Friday at ETC Cafeteria in Madison of an apparent heart attack, according to Jefferson County Coroner Gerald Hamilton.

He was a Marine veteran of the Korean War, an employee of the Jefferson Proving Ground and a member of Moose Lodge 765 and Canaan Masonic Lodge 581.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marcella Park; a son, John A. Park of Key Largo, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Susan Griffin of Boca Raton, Fla., and Mrs. Robin Whitney {Note: should be Whitley (wife of Gerald Whitley)} of Homosassa Springs, Fla.; two stepsons, Aaron P. Campbell of Lantana, Fla., and James C. Campbell; a stepdaughter, Miss Carolyn Campbell of Lantana; his mother, Mrs. Thelma Clark of Pekin, Ill.; five brothers, Ivan Park of Pekin, Ill.; five brothers, Ivan Park of Pekin, Donald Park of Spartanbburg, S.C., Marvin Park of Morton, Ill., Raymond Park of Madison and Larry Park of Gary; three sisters, Mrs. Norma Jean White of California, Mrs. Karen Sue Goodman and Mrs. Joyce Rolfcroft, both of Pekin; and a grandchild.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home with burial in Vevay Cemetery.

Visitation at the funeral home will be after 3 p.m. Sunday.
