Bryan F. “Butch” Lawson, 57, died on October 3, 2019 in Jacksonville as a result injuries received when struck by a car there.
He was born on January 20, 1962 in Elwood. Bryan attended Elwood schools and enlisted in the United States Navy in 1979. He received a Bronze Star during service and was honorably discharged in 1983.
He is survived by his mother Linda (Don) Driffill of Anderson and other family members.
Private family services with military honors will take place in Park View Cemetery in Alexandria.
