Hyrum Smith Bryson died near Vulture City which is now a ghost town. It was a gold mine community. He was buried in the Vulture City Cemetery under a large seguaro tree so that the family would know where he was when they came to remove him and take him back to St. George. (However, moving him to St.George never happened.)
