Mr. David "Swifty" Louis Swift, 65, of Louisville returned to his Heavenly Father Thursday, July 20, 2017. He devoted 30 years of service to Teamsters Local 89. Among those who preceded him in death include his parents, Timothy and Margaret Swift and brother, Mike Swift of Glasgow. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Pam Swift, stepchildren, Lee Collins (Karen) and Angel Cull; grandchildren, Jordyn, Brianna, Heath, Matthew and Joseph; nieces, Schelly Vance and Beth Walden (J.D); nephews, Johnny Vance (Laura), Jamie Swift (Faith) and Jason Swift. Funeral service will be held at 12 pm Tuesday, July 25, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 3 pm until 8 pm and Tuesday from 9 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
