Steven Patrick Hunt, Sr. age 86 formerly of Winter Park, FL passed away at his home in Odessa, TX on October 9, 2019. He was born in Mangum, OK on September 21, 1933 to Robert Ray and Maggie Mae (Luna) Hunt. He grew up around Gainesville, TX and enlisted in the Army after high school. Steven retired from the US Army after 20 years of service and went on to have a successful career with the US Postal Service for another 23 years in Orlando, FL.
Steven is the father of two sons Michael Hunt and Steven Patrick Hunt, Jr. who preceded him in death.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers Robert Wayne Hunt, St George, UT; Clinton Hunt, Odessa, TX and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Maggie Hunt and son Steven Patrick Hunt, Jr.
Graveside services with military honors will be privately held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa followed by a Dedication of the Grave by church leaders from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
