Michael David "KY" Loesch, 73, passed away at 8:24 pm on October 15, 2019 at The New Willow Manor Nursing Home. KY was born on September 2, 1946 in St. Louis, MO the son of Wilfred and Elizabeth (Rankin) Loesch.

He married Mitzi Jo Loesch and she preceded him in death.

KY served his country in the United States Marine Corp and retired from Marathon Oil Company in the maintenance department. He also was a member of the 40 et 8, American Legion, a former member of the All-Weather Firing Squad and he enjoyed shooting guns.

Survivors include his daughter, Michelle Kern of Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Elaine Helderman and her husband William of Vincennes; grandchildren, Lacie and Jade Kern and his uncle Edwin Rankin of Marion, NC. KY was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mitzi Jo Loesch and his son Michael David Loesch, Jr.

Graveside services for KY will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Interment will follow the service. Published in Courier Press from Oct. 16 to Oct. 17, 2019
