Funeral service for Nancy Holland will be at 1 pm on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery near Hagewood, LA. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 8 pm on Tuesday, October 22nd at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.

Nancy, age 65 and a resident of Buras, LA passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019, in Gretna, LA. She was born on November 27, 1953, in Natchitoches, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents Francis and Lou Ford; and a sister, Wilma Jean Buras.

She graduated from NLU with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. She taught school for many years but was also a truck driver for many years. She loved the finer things in life, like flowers, music, and art. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and she will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her children, Allie Boutwell (Tony) and Johnathan Eubanks; a brother George Holland (JoAnne); and a special niece that was a caretaker, Stephanie Buras (Chad) and her daughter Malaysia; her beloved pets, BooBoo, Kink, and Tee’tee; as well as other nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
