She was born in 1923 to Herman and Minnie (Brown) Vancil.
Eileen was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Edgar Sterns.
She is survived by her sons, T and M Sterns; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Geraldine; brother, S Vancil and wife, J; as well as many nieces and nephews.
After a wonderful long life, (Naomi) Eileen Sterns, 94, passed away in the afternoon of December 1, 2017 in Cedar Park, Texas. She was born in Cambria, Illinois, on April 17, 1923, to the late Herman Vancil and Minnie (Brown) Vancil.
Spending most of her life in Indianapolis, Indiana, Eileen was a prolific artist who also enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, traveling, bible studies, and in addition, was an avid tennis fan.
