Florence Ann Baker, 96, of Batavia and formerly of Hickory Hills, IL passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva, IL. Florence was born August 22, 1923, in Oak Lawn, IL the daughter of Anton and Minnie (Friesl) Page. She was united in marriage to Harvey A. Baker November 3, 1945 in Chicago, IL.
Florence admired and loved her children and grandchildren. She had strong convictions to her Catholic Faith and just as strong of a personality to back it up.
She is survived by her two children, Robert (Phyllis) Baker and Maribeth Grice; six grandchildren, Claire Grice, Jeffrey (Alicia) Grice, Christopher (Ellie) Grice; Gregory (Pamela) Baker, Julie (Kevin) Dalton and Matthew Petrusha; seven great-grandchildren, Caleb, Noah, Emma, Olivia, Owen, Anthony, and Brianna.
She is preceded in death by her husband Harvey; and daughter Susan Baker, and her siblings, Robert Page and Eleanor Tabinski.
Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Moss Family Funeral Home 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 18, 2019 from Moss Family Funeral Home before proceeding to Holy Cross Catholic Church, 2300 Main Street Batavia Ave. to celebrate Mass at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, 87th Street and Hamlin Ave. Evergreen Park, IL.
