Charles E. Kreymborg, 82, of Sioux City, Iowa, formerly of Danbury, Iowa, died at Countryside Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
A Memorial Service was held at the United Methodist Church in Danbury.
Charles, the son of Louis J. and Alvina (Luinstra) Kreymborg, married Donna R. Kempton in 1959 in Sioux City. Charles was a long time employee of Sioux City Stock Yards. After leaving Sioux City he was a country buyer for several packers including Producers, John Morrel, Hygrades, and Clougherty Packing Co. He retired in Greeley, Colorado, in 1996. The couple returned to Danbury where he enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Donna Kreymborg of Sioux City, five children, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Kevin, and grandsons Anthony Schumann, Joey Milner, and Christopher Divis.
