RICHARD G. LLOYD, Sr., age 92, of Chatham, PA, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019, at his residence. He was the husband of Patsy Mattson Lloyd, with who he shared 70 years of marriage.
Born in Chatham, PA, he was the son of the late Fred Lloyd and the late Anna Graham Lloyd.
Mr. Lloyd was a Farmer all of his life.
He was a member of the Chatham United Methodist Church, and was a member of farm associations.
He enjoyed farming, gardening and being with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Joyce Sexton of Avondale, PA and Kathy Maule and her husband Larry of Chatham, PA; four sons, Rich Lloyd, Jr. and his wife Merrillee of Atglen, PA, Robert Lloyd and his wife Sandy of Cochranville, PA, Kenny Lloyd and his wife Sally of Modena, PA and Gary Lloyd of Chatham, PA; two sisters, Mary Waddell of Chatham, PA and Doris Pugh of West Grove, PA; fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by one son, Rusty Lloyd; two brothers, Jack Lloyd and Fred Lloyd and two sisters, Amy Lloyd and Janet Carlin.
You are invited to visit with his family and friends from 10:00 to 12:00 Wednesday morning, July 31, 2019 at the Foulk Funeral Home of West Grove, 200 Rose Hill Road, West Grove, PA. His Funeral service will follow at 12:00. Burial will be Union Hill Cemetery, Route 82, Kennett Square, PA.
