MARION: Terry L. James, age 68 of Marion, passed away on Tuesday morning, May 10, 2016 at Heartland of Marion.
Terry was born on June 4, 1947 in Olive Hill, KY, the son of the late Lester and Oma (Justice) James. He graduated from Ridgedale High School and was employed by Dresser Industries.
In Terry's early years, he enjoyed going out and fishing. In his later years, he could be found watching and enjoying a great game of basketball.
He is survived by his siblings: Thomas (Patricia) James, Ronald James both of Marion and Sandra Lee (Sam) Sidoti of Plant City, FL; nephew Christopher Sidoti of Plant City, FL; niece Lori Ann Miester of Columbus; his aunt Billie James of Olive Hill, KY; and cousins: Retta Caudill and Esther Blevins of Olive Hill, KY, William James of Ashland, KY, Jack Ernst, James Ernst, Lee Warren and Nick Warren all of Louisville, KY.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the Gunder/Hall & Snyder Funeral Home, 347 West Center St., Marion from 4PM to 7PM; Graveside services will be held on Friday at the Marion Cemetery on the new side at 11AM with Celebrant Mark Schuring officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
