Billie L. McDonald, age 81, of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 in Fayetteville.

He was born September 10, 1938 in Wheeler, Arkansas to Andrew Losson and Lucille (Thomas) McDonald.

He graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1957.

He was a member of the Arkansas National Guard for 17 years earning the marksman award.

He retired as a lineman from Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO).

He helped take care of Mount Comfort Cemetery for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Andrea Sue Cate.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn; two sons, Derick McDonald (and his wife, Lisal) of Austin, Texas and Darin McDonald (and his wife, Debora) of West Fork; five grandchildren; four brothers, Donnie Nelson McDonald of Springdale, Zara Lee McDonald of Nevada, Thomas Andrew McDonald of Hindsville, and Mark Anthony McDonald of Kansas; and two sisters, Cecilia Wynell Lawrence of Kansas and Sharon Hart of Colorado.

Visitation will be held 4:00–6:00 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 18, 2019 at Moore’s Chapel.

Burial to follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery.
