Melinda (Mindy) Lee Ward 34, of Cross Lanes passed away October 13, 2019. Mindy was born April13, 1985. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Ralph and Norma Ward and Molly Ward. Melinda is survived by her children Kaelyn, Kaedyn, and Kaecyn Holmes of South Charleston, mother Linda and her husband Timothy Crouch of Cross Lanes, stepfather Joey Bowles of Dunbar, sister Amber Bowles of Cross Lanes, niece Haylee Feazell, nephew Austin Feazell, aunt Sarina Addy (Gary) , uncles Ralph Ward (Christie) and Darryl Ward of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Leonard Ward (Kathy) of Cross Lanes WV, Denny Ward (Christy) of WV and a host of other family and friends.

Melinda grew up in Poca, WV and was a 2003 graduate of Poca High School. Melinda’s most treasured occupation was being a mother to her 3 children. They were the light of her life and she was always bragging on their accomplishments.

A tribute to the life of Mindy will be 2:00 PM Friday October 18, 2019 at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memory Gardens, Red House. The family will receive friends one-hour prior the service on Friday at the funeral home.
