Funeral services for Joe Ann Howell, 85, of Palestine will be at Calvary Baptist Church; burial will follow in Roselawn Par.
She was born to V.G. Chasten and Cammie Hardy Chasten.
She worked for 29 years at Southside Baptist Daycare and 25 years as a Sunday School teacher. She was a member of Calvary Baptist since she was 4 years old.
Mrs. Howell was preceded in death by her parents; and brother James Vivian Chasten.
She is survived by sons, Dwain Howell and Gary Howell (Cookie); four grandchildren; six great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
