Jimmy “Nicky” Walker, 73, of Belton, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019, at his residence. Burial will be at Moffat Cemetery.

Jimmy was born on April 6, 1946, in Belton, Texas, to the late Willie and Ossie Mae Ratliff Walker in Belton. As a young man he loved to rodeo and was in a classic car club called the “Blue Angels”. He worked in concrete construction for most of his life and was a very hard worker. Jimmy loved his family and always put them first. He enjoyed metal scrapping, country, and bluegrass music. Jimmy loved being a grandfather and he will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his brothers: Billie Lee Walker, Leon Clyde Walker, and Jackie Jo Walker; and his sister, Wanda Faye Johnson.

Survivors include his wife of over 30 years, Paula Brown Walker, of Belton; sons: Nicky Ray Walker, Shawn Brady Walker, and Roy Dean Walker, all of Belton; daughters: Connie Walker, of Temple, Kathy Jewel Walker, of Nolanville, Tracy Ashley Clifford, of Temple, and Rebecca Lynn Brown, of Belton; 22 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; sisters, Alma Mae Pruitt, of Moffat, and Artie Ann Bagget, of Arizona; other relatives and many friends.
