On February 18, 1983, he married Teresa"Terri"Yonts, and she preceded him in death on May 5, 2007.
Paul is survived by children, Theresa Sosbe of Fairland, Natalie Hollar of Shelbyville, Robert Britt of Waldron, Jennifer Hockersmith of Shelbyville, Patrick Britt of shelbyville, Lisa Bohman of Everton, Brian Britt of Frankfort; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; ex-wife, Ella Britt; siblings, Faye Koonce, Richard "Buddy"Britt, Linda Long and Donna Hacker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, and 2 sisters.
Paul was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He loved being outdoors, fishing, watching NASCAR and spending time with his family.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to Noon, Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.
Funeral services will follow at Noon at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Fairland Cemetery with military rites conducted by local veterans organizations.
