Darrell A. Anderson, 79, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 in a local hospital.
He was retired from commercial construction; Darrell was employed with Randall Fisher Construction Co for 40 years. He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church for 48 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh L. and Hazel Anderson; daughters, Melanie Anderson Burris, and Mitizi Anderson Berge; brothers: twin brother, Carroll Anderson, Doyle Anderson, and Bill Anderson.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Kathy Hawkins Anderson of Cleveland; children, John Mark Anderson of Cleveland, Ladena McCracken (Patrick) of Cocoa Beach, FL, and Shannon Vincent (Johnny) of Cleveland; grandchildren: Mickey Anderson, Tanner Anderson, Joshua Bird, Kelli Farris, T.J. Burns, Kayla Stachowiak, Peyton McCracken, Alexis Smith, Autumn McCracken, Chelsea Johnson, Lil Man Johnson, and Katelyn Vincent; eight great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Bailes (Jerry); and special friends, Cassidy and the H.L. Lowe family.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at New Salem Baptist Church with Pastor A.C. Cooper officiating. Private entombment will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
