Genell G. Thomas, 94, of Crown Point, IN died on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Chicagoland Village in Crown Point, IN.

She was born on June 2, 1913 in Beecher, IL to Elmer & Anna (Rude) Slack. She married Harold W. Thomas on November 12, 1931. He preceded her in death on March 4, 1993.

Genell is survived by her children: Donald (Shirley) Thomas of San Antonio, TX, Terry (Jerilyn) Thomas of Beecher, IL and Connie (Frank) Klobucar of Crown Point, IN; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Friday, July 13, 2007 at Ingraham Christian Church in Ingraham, IL.

Burial will be in Ingraham Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until service time Friday at the church.

Frank & Bright Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Beecher Community Church and may be received at the funeral home.
