Stinson, Jacqueline
87, born February 24, 1928 in Sterling, IN to Czar Jacob and Rose Mae [Pratt] Hershberger, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on March 23, 2015. She was one of ten children and grew up most of her life in the Indiana Masonic Home after losing both her parents at an early age. At the age of 8, Jackie met Harold Stinson, also living at the Masonic Home. In their sophomore year together, Jackie and Harold starting dating, they would eventually be married and spend 68 wonderful years together. In their later years, they took a three month cross country trip by fifth wheel, visiting almost every state. Jackie had a poetic soul and loved to write poetry, writing up to 3000 poems. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and six sisters and her son Harold Jeffrey "Jeff" Stinson. Jackie is survived by her loving husband Harold, daughter Jennifer Ryan, three grandchildren Kayla and Jacob Ketelsen and Sean Stinson and one great grandchild, Cylas Ryan. She will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Gilbert Presbyterian Church, 235 E Guadalupe Rd, Gilbert AZ 85234. Memorials may be made in Jackie's name to the Gilbert Presbyterian Church. Arrangements entrusted to Mariposa Gardens (480) 830-4422.
