Kevin Abraham Rowe, Sr. born December 30, 1956 in Chattanooga Tennessee to Abraham and Imogene Rowe, lived a vibrant life until his departure October 14, 2019.

Kevin kept fond memories of his childhood growing up in the Piney Woods area. After attending Howard High School, he went on to work with his father, later becoming a partner and eventual sole owner of A & K Rowe Concrete Finishing Company where he produced lasting foundations for communities throughout the city. His worldly manner tempered to meet the task of raising his children as he also embraced being a father figure for many others who found themselves in need of guidance, structure or support. His engaging smile and charm always let people know he was approachable and willing to lend a hand and his heart when necessary. As a young person, he attended Saint Phillips Lutheran Church where he served as an Acolyte. Kevin’s crowning accomplishment came in his final days as he repented and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

As Kevin joins his parents in heaven, left to cherish his memory are life partner, Brooke Harris; daughters, Sonja (French) Moore, Kia (Aaron) Atchinson and Brooklyn Rowe; son, Kevin Rowe Jr. , stepdaughters, Jayla and Carly Harris; sisters, Marva Cooper-Westfield, Lennie Cooper, and Bonnie Cooper; former wife, Dolline Blassingame all of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Carlos Tibbs Jr. United States Marine Corp; Asja Pouncy, Knoxville Tn and Kayla Tibbs, Clarksville Tn.; great grandson, Josiah Atchinson; nieces, Tracy Taylor, Chattanooga, Simone Howard, United States Air Force and Warren Howard, Winston-Salem NC; cousins, great niece Amaya Howard, Winston-Salem NC; great nephews, Jeremiah Howard, Winston-Salem NC and Isaiah Howard, San Francisco, CA; close loving cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
