He was born October 19, 1943 in Stoddard County, Missouri to the late William and Dorothy (Burchett) Massey.
Ron enjoyed hunting, particularly rabbit hunting. He always had rabbit dogs to assist him in his pursuit. While he lived most of his life in Missouri, he did live in California for several years. He attended the Baptist Church in Aquila, Mo.
Loving survivors include daughters, Tina (Jerrell) Ladd of Advance, Missouri, Ronette (Nathan) Cowell of Russellville, Arkansas; sons, Brian Massey of Bloomfield, Missouri and Kyle Massey of Dardanelle, Arkansas; brothers, Jim Massey of Exeter, California, and Roger (Yvonne) Massey of St Louis, Missouri; sisters, Mildred Looney of Oldsmar, Florida, Pansy McGee and Velva (Mike) Buehler, of Advance, Missouri; grandchildren, Amber (Jason) Spicer, Rodney J. Mouser, Tyler Akers, Austin Akers, Camden Cowell, Emersyn Cowell; great-grandchildren, Savanna Spicer and great step grandson, Brandon Martinez, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Ed, Joe and Richard Massey and one sister, Lila L. Bryant.
