The deceased was born in Stookey township, September 13, 1875, a daughter of Oliver and Sarah Phillips, nee Bailey. She was united in marriage with Theodore Becherer, January 24, 1899.
Besides her husband and her mother, she leaves the following children:

Mrs. Edna Wiemann, Belleville
Mrs. Ruth Fischer, Collinsville
Clarence Becherer, at home
Phillip Becherer, at home
Miss Mary Becherer, at home
Two brothers:
Harrison Phillips, Belleville
Leonard Phillips, Lenzburg
... and two grandchildren also survive.

June 25, 1928 - The funeral of Mrs. Adelia, A. Becherer of Caseyville Road, who died Saturday at St. Elizabeth's Hospital will be held at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning from the home to St. Peter's Cathedral. Interment will take place in Green Mount Cemetery.
