Mr. Moody was born in Chatham County on January 2, 1948 the son of Charles Lewis and Argie (Gaines) Moody. He was retired from Carolina Tank Lines as a truck driver. Larry was a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed bowling and golfing.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roger Vann Moody and Jimmy Earle Moody; sister-in-law, Linda Fay (Susie) Moody.
He is survived by his wife: Merlyn (Brewer) Moody; children, Larry Dwayne Moody of Winston- Salem, Sherry Moody Parker of Sanford, Crystal Branson of Winston- Salem; brothers, Charles (Bill) Moody (Peggy) of Siler City, Jerry Moody (Ann) of Goldston, Randy Moody of Bear Creek and Kenneth Moody of Siler City; grandchildren, Katelyn Elizabeth Parker and Lauryn Mae Parker and many nieces and nephews.
