Sheree Lynne Overstreet, 60, of Higginsville, died October 12, 2019 at St. Luke’s Medical Center.

She was born August 21, 1959 in Prairie Village, KS to Joseph and Lola (Hecht) Karnowski.

She married Tom Allen on November 28, 1991. He preceded her in death on December 17, 2006. She married Mike Overstreet on May 6, 2012.

Sheree worked as housekeeper for people in their homes. But her true passion was working as a florist in Kansas City and around Lafayette County.

She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority-Eta Lamda Chapter, and the First Baptist Church. She was active with the Boy Scouts of America when her sons were young, serving as a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts.

She is survived by:

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 16th from 6:00-7:30 pm at Kaiser ~Wiegers Funeral Home.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday, October 17th at 10:30 am at the First Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Greg Fine.

Honorary Casket Bearers are Rusty O’Dell, David Hockensmith, Roger Erdman, Jack Duvall, Herb Echelmeier, Leonard Stoll, Kevin Overstreet, Kim Wrench.

Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church or the family choice.
