Funeral services for Monica Martinez, 23, of Lubbock will be on Wednesday July, 11, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic church with Father David Cruz officiating.
Rosary will be on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at 7 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
Burial will be at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
She died on July 3, 2007. She was born on May 31, 1984 in Lubbock, Texas.
She worked for the Lubbock Temp. Agency. She graduated from Lubbock High in 2003 then she attended South Plains College where she was planning to go back in the fall. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace church.
She was loved by everyone. We will deeply miss her laugh, her smile and her warm embrace.
Survivors include: her mother, Flavia Gutierrez of Lubbock; her sister, Ericka Sanchez of Pennsicola, Fla.; brothers, Ramon Gutierrez, Felix Gutierrez, and Samuel Salinas all of Lubbock; her grandmother, Guadalupe Campos of Lubbock.
Death due to auto accident.
