PAYETTE — Dianne Joy (Steiniker) Scott, 73, of Payette, went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 28, 2017 at home with family by her side. Dianne was born Jan. 3, 1942 in Payette to Walt and Wilma Steiniker; she was the youngest of four children. Dianne attended Payette High School, met and married Ernie Scott, April 28, 1963 and moved to Glen Bernie, MD, where they had two boys while Ernie served 20 years in the Army. Dianne was the rock that centered a military family, raising both boys and keeping Ernie in line.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walt and Wilma Steiniker; her sisters, Lois Lyle and Lorene Olmsted. Dianne is survived by her husband Ernie Scott; her brother, Arden Steiniker, and her sons, Tony and Troy Scott and their families.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 10th at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette.
