In her early years, Vera was a home maker and raised her family. Once her children were grown she attended college and received her associates degree and was employed by the Charlotte Avenue School as a teacher's aide.

Vera enjoyed her time volunteering at Southern New Hampshire and at the Upper Room.

In addition to her husband Robert, she is survived by her four children, Scott Rogers and his wife Patti of Nashua, NH; Doug Rogers and his wife Sue of West Boylston, MA; John Rogers of Phoenix, AZ; and Tom Rogers of Nashua, NH; her daughter-in-law, Wendy Rogers of Battle Creek, MI; as well as her seven grandchildren, Jill, Kayla, Lisa, Jack, Gavin, Justin, Kayla, and her great-grandsons, James and Cameron.

Vera was predeceased by her son Rob Rogers
