Edna Christine Gordon, 80-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan with her family by her side. She was born April 9, 1939 to the late Amos and Sarah Wilder Gimlin in Neelyville, MO.

Christine, or “Teny” as she was known by many, worked at Vitronic for many years. She enjoyed sewing and reading.

On April 20, 1959 Edna Christine married Milton Gordon in Bertrand. He survives.

Also surviving is her sister Mary Meyers of Doniphan; son-in-law, Jerry “Red” Woodson; and two grandchildren, Jerry Wayne (Angela) Woodson of Purman and Leslie Woodson of Gatewood; and four great-grandchildren, Clint, Trevor, Haley, and Connor.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Terri Woodson; sisters, Ellen Creason, Rosella Massey, and Connie Massey; and brothers, Robert and Henry Gimlin.

Visitation for Christine will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2019 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral following at noon. Brother Jared Baker will be officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Ponder.
