He worked as a personnel administrator in the civil service field for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother Mae E. Lucas, first wife, Joan Lucas and his sister, Lena Fejt. Surviving are his wife, Barbara (Andrews) Lucas.; daughter, Barbara (Bill) Wimer, and sons, Kenneth (Diane) Lucas and John (Lynne) Lucas; grandchildren, Carrie, Luke, Christina, Natalie, Nicholas, Alex, Heather, and Megan, and great grandchildren, Ethan, Liam, Anton, Charlotte, Gabriella and Leila.
