Audrey L. King, age 74, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (October 11, 2019) at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.

She was born on April 07, 1945 in Caneyville, KY, the daughter of the late Minnie Johnson Duvall and Willie Duvall (Lorene).

She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers. She loved watching her birds, especially hummingbirds. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and worshipping her Lord. She got saved at Blowtown Church in a revival her husband was holding.

She is survived by her four daughters, Deborah “Red” Hayes (Dennis), Judy Hudson (Mike) both of Caneyville, Becky Tomes of Leitchfield (Timothy Elwood of Clarkson) and Pamela Craine Allen of Whitesville, KY; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Norman Duvall (Heidi) of Brooks, KY and Robert Duvall (Pat) of Caneyville; two sisters, Mamie England (Frank) of Caneyville and Wanda Jane Clark (Bobby) of Leitchfield. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David L. King.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, (October 16, 2019) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bros. Amos Alsman and Jeff Dennis will be officiating. Burial will be in the New Freedom Cemetery.
