Bevery M. Richards, 69, Wabash, passed away January 20, 2019 at her home. She was born June 17, 1949 in Wabash, IN, the daughter of Kenny and Isabelle (Miller) Eltzroth.

Bevery was a graduate of Wabash High School and attended the Humboldt Airline Training School. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Peru. Bevery was also a devoted caregiver to her mother.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother-in-law, Richard C. Hupfer. Bevery is survived by her husband of 47 years, David Richards; her daughter, Amanda McGarity; her mother, Isabelle Eltzroth; her siblings, Debra Eltzroth, Oliver Eltzroth, and her step-brother, K. Joe Eltzroth (Diane); and her nieces and nephews, Kale Hanneken (Marian), Avery Hanneken (Megan), Tracy Murphy (Brian), Kate Horton (Brad), and Derek Eltzroth (Kim).

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 24 at 4 PM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School, 80 W. 5th Street, Peru, IN
