Glen T. Konop, 32, of 2110 Marshall St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Monday
afternoon, Aug. 30, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville,
and 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Maple Grove. The Rev. Dave
Pleier will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Konop was born Aug. 9, 1950, in the Town of Franklin, son of Victor and
Agnes Dugan Konop. He attended St. Michael Parochial School, Whitelaw, and
was graduated from Reedsville High School in 1968.
Survivors include a daughter, Bridget of Manitowoc; his parents, Victor and
Agnes Konop of Route 2, Cato; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Lois and
Al Kiel of Whitelaw, Patti Konop of Route 2, Cato, and Donna and Mark
Aschenbrenner of Manitowoc; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Anna Konop of
Madison; a nephew, Patrick Kiel; a niece, Kristin Kiel; a special friend,
Evelyn F. Bashaw of Manitowoc, uncles and aunts.
Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday until
the time of services. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday by
Father Pleier.
