William J Ayers, 61 of Alderson, WV and formerly of Birmingham, AL was a son of the late Dana R and Violet Pence Ayers. He was a retired tile setter, a member of the Baptist Church, and a veteran of the US Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann, in 1984. He is survived by six brothers, Pat R, John H, Sherman R, and Steve J Ayers, all of Alderson, Anthony F Ayers of Lilburn, GA, and Gary L Ayers of Pulaski, VA; two sisters, Deloris Fentress of Clinton, MD and Rose Kast of Mechanicsville, VA.
