Gary Lynn Williamson, age 80 of Nebraska City died October 9, 2019 at Sumner Place in Lincoln. Gary was born April 18, 1939 in Nebraska City, the son of Gerald Harvey and Elsie Mildred (Maxwell) Williamson. Gary formerly lived in Wichita, KS before moving to Nebraska City in 1986. He worked at Region V and was a former member of the First Christian Church in Nebraska City. Gary loved traveling, reading mystery books and was an avid Husker fan. He also had a strong love for cats. Survivors include his cousins, Georgene Peeler of Nebraska City, Don Peeler and wife Melissa of Omaha, Mary Johnson and husband Jim of Nebraska City and Ron Peeler and wife Marcia of Indianola, IA; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Verla.
