Sandra Leigh Haynes, age 72, of Smyrna passed away October 7, 2019. Sandra was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and retired from Lorretto in Syracuse, New York, where she worked as a Social Worker. She is survived by her husband, Dan Haynes; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Michelle Haynes of Douglasville; grandson, Michael Haynes; sisters-in-law, Priss Haynes of Murrells Inlet, SC, Suzy Lauderbeck of Playa del Sol, CA, and Tyrree Patterson of Danridge, TN; cousin, Ron Anderson of Youngstown, OH; and friend, Sister Helen Hoffman of Syracuse, NY. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 12th, 9:30 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment will occur at Georgia National Cemetery, Wednesday, October 16th, at 1:30 PM. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
