Nancy J. Murray (Denien), age 71, Greenwood, IN passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.
Nancy was born in 1948 in the small southern Indiana town of Salem to Walter K. and Virginia M. (Morris) Denien. In 1954 the family moved to Indianapolis. Nancy attended IPS School #15 until 1960 when the family moved to the Southport area. Nancy went on to graduate from Southport High School in 1967 and soon after married William J. (Bill) Karas. Bill gave his life in Vietnam, but not before he and Nancy welcomed a beautiful daughter. In 1971 Nancy married Jeffrey A. Murray. They went on to have 2 daughters of their own.
Nancy worked 27 years at National Escrow Title Company as office manager/controller.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jeffrey A. Murray, whom she married on August 21, 1971, in Indianapolis. She is also survived by daughters Jennifer Karas Montez, Syracuse, NY., Elizabeth Bailey, and Heather (Brad) Sobel, Atlanta, GA. Granddaughter Keirstin Minton, grandsons Gavin Frost and Blain Bailey, sisters Debbie (Gary) Montgomery, Barbara Shine, brother Mark (Molly) Denien, 5 nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
Nancy was much loved and will be forever missed.
