She was raised and educated in Peabody. She resided in Peabody for most of her life before moving to Beverly 8 months ago to live with her daughter.
Pauline was employed for many years at the Dahl Shoe Company in Peabody and also worked in the same capacity in Maine. She enjoyed playing bingo, shopping and traveling.
She is survived by a daughter, Sabrina T. McDaid and her fiancée Reynaldo Melendez of Beverly; a son and his wife Thomas A. and Stephanie Melendez of Saugus; a sister and her husband, Shirley A. and Peter Grenier of Middleton; a brother, John J. Jacavanco and a longtime companion Susan Chevalier of Middleton; 3 grandchildren, Thomas A. Jr., Brianna & Nicholas Melendez all of Saugus; an uncle, Walter Jacavanco of Bedford; a niece, Sherry Tirelli of Middleton and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. Her brother Richard Jacavanco pre deceased her.
