Former Minonk Lady died Dec. 4, 1945 at Grand Junction, Colorado.
Mrs. Nancy Spaulding, 71, a native of Minonk, died Tuesday in Long Beach, California. She had been in failing health for several months. She will be buried in California.
Nancy Livingston was born on April 8 1874, the daughter of Philip and Mary McCune Livingston on the Livingston homestead, six miles west of Minonk. She attended the Jefferson school and later followed the dress making trade for several years.
She was united in marriage with P. H. Spaulding on February 22, 1899. They lived in this vicinity for several years where Mr. Spaulding manufactured incubators and nurseries, and moved to Chicago nearly thirty years ago. She had spent the last two years at Long Beach.
Surviving are her husband and the following children; Wesley and Orris Spaulding of Batavia; Sgt. Harvey Spaulding in the armed forces; Mrs. Caroline Voss and Mrs. Florence Jabot of Chicago; Mrs. Nina DeAmato of Corona, California. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Marinda Randolph of Longmont, Colorado, and Mrs. Sheba Oltman of Benson.
She was preceded in death by one son, Rendon, in 1929; one sister, Mrs. Fannie McChesney, and two brothers, R. M. Livingston of Minonk, and Philip F. Livingston of Edmonton, Canada.
