Mrs. Evelyn Jean Ray Bowman, age 85, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019, at her home under the loving care and comfort of her family.
Funeral services will be 12 noon Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Ararat Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors one hour prior to service Tuesday at the funeral home.
She was born November 14, 1933, in Bedford County, to the late William Nelson Ray and Della C Anderson Ray. She was Executive House Keeper for Dr. Lana Beavers, and a faithful member of Scott United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, William “Billy’ Bowman, Robert Allen Bowman, and Ronald Thomas Bowman; a sister Dorothy Smith, and numerous grandchildren.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel assisted the family with the arrangements.
