Beverly A. Walker, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, after a six-year battle with Alzheimer's. She was 77.

Beverly was born on March 6, 1942 to Authur and Edna Hunt. After working 33 years for the Social Security Administration as a Legal Assistant and Hearing Office Director in Arlington, Virginia; Florence, Alabama; Jackson, Mississippi; and Nashville, Tennessee, Beverly retired to Paducah in 2004. She enjoyed many years of shopping, Netflix, more shopping, catering to her cats (Sarah and Sydney) and laughing with her sister and best friend, Rose Mary.

She will be missed by her sister, Rose Mary Kloss, of Paducah; a brother, Eddie (Shirley) Hunt and their children Karen and Kenny; a niece, Jan (Paul) Beaugrand, of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin; a niece, RaeAnne Kloss, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; a nephew, Randy (Bobbie) Kloss, of Lexington, Kentucky; several great nieces and nephews; and several dear family friends (you know who you are).

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hiram Walker; a sister, Joyce Fredrick; and a niece, Kim Mabry.

Visitation will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home. Fr. Bruce McCarty will offer prayers at the Lone Oak Chapel at 10:30 A.M., followed by a graveside funeral service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. All are welcome to join the family at this time.

The family would like to thank the staffs at The Arbors at Capetown, Southeast Hospice and The Lutheran Home, for the dignity and respect they showed Beverly.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mississippi Animal Rescue Shelter, 5221 Greenway Dr. Exd., Jackson, MS 39204.
